Describes loss of messaging option after post is "taken"

The Freecycle.org software has an annoying deficiency that I wanted to alert everyone to. When a post is marked as "Taken," you lose the ability to send message between members of the group, related to that post If a post is marked "Taken" before communication has been established between the offeror and the person accepting the offer, you will not be able to contact that person. The recommended way of avoiding this is to leave the post as active, but change the title of the post (while still keeping it in active status) to let other members know that it has been offered to someone and that person has agreed to pick it up. Phrases such as "taken pending pickup" let others know that the item is probably taken. As a backup, if the post has been marked as taken and contact has been lost, you can contact the group moderator and he/she can reach out to the other member and establish communication via email.
