Tucson Repair Cafe

Hi Tucson Freecycle members,

Just a quick (and rare email) heads-up:

There will be a free repair cafe on April 12th. Details below. This is not put on by us but is just a nice event. I got an old radio fixed at one of these. Good for old electronics, etc.

Tucson Repair Cafe: Details
The Tucson Repair Cafe is a volunteer-run space where you can get broken items fixed for free. The mission of the program is to reduce waste, decrease consumption, and teach community members how to repair their own items.  If you are looking for a way to help the environment, we encourage you to come to a repair event.  The Repair Café also has several open volunteer positions to help organize events and run special projects.

The next Repair Cafe event of will be held Saturday, April 12, at Xerocraft (101 W. 6th St. #111) from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  Due to the construction near Xerocraft, it can be confusing to find.  TRC recommends turning on to Franklin St. and then turning on 9th. You will see a road sign looking like the street is closed off, but it's not.  Drive past it and park in front of Xerocraft.

(I send out notifications like this maybe once or twice a year. If you wish to unsubscribe, just log in to Freecycle.org and click on My Settings to change this).

Enjoy!
